We are coming to the “NC” Sunday evening and leaving Christmas afternoon. Then we will spend the rest of Christmas, until the 30th, in “Nashvegas.”
You have to spend equal time at both places or someone will get their little feelings hurt.

We are coming in this Sunday, 21st, and will be there until about 1 or 2 on Christmas Day.

Sounds like you are gonna head south when I head east. We will probably intersect in Louisville. My wife and i are both from VA Beach, so all of our family is there. We just have to divide the time equally while there.

Yeah, this is the first year to divide time between families for me. Of course, I know next year it will still be much different from this year. I’ll wave in Louisville.

Going to visit my dad, sister and grandparents in one state next week. The week after I’ll be visiting my mom and step-family.

Food, friends, presents and sleeping in. Oh…and getting paid time off. Gotta love it!

This is our first year to be married, so it’s a little tough to get parents to understand that you can’t be in two places at one time. Also to get them to understand that you have two sets of parents now, and the other set wants to see you as much as the other set does.

That being said, we’ll be spending the majority of our time with the family of my wife in Georgia. Next year it will switch (not the wife, the place we spend the majority of our time).
