Safe and Sound

Just a brief moment to tell all that we made it okay to Haiti.  We’ve been in for a little over 24 hours.  Slept like babies last night.  Today we didn’t do a whole lot of stuff, we just hung out.  I was able to see some of my favorite kids.  I am actually picking up on a bit more Creole, so that’s very exciting.  There is a lot of excitment around the compound as about two weeks ago, Pastor John, the youth director at the church in Saut d’Eau said he felt God calling him to go to Massicot (5 hours away) and evangelize.  The story is remarkable, but there’s not enough time, other than to say that there have been 145 salvations in the past couple of weeks.  Don’t tell me that God doesn’t move in people’s hearts anymore!  It’s amazing what is going on, and it’s only going to get better.  Pray pray and pray some more….classes start Monday!

Stumbled onto your blog. Awesome to hear about God moving in Haiti. My mom did the same thing years ago and has never been the same.

    Go God!
